ANNETTE MADDEN

Annette is a Performer/Deviser who worked with Theatre Kantanka on The Eye (Adelaide Festival 2000), The Boxed Set (Live Bait Festival 2004) and Fearless N (The Armory 2008). She is co-founder of The Hub Project (an international theatre collective) and produced and performed in the premiere of Lapse at Walkerspace, New York. Her theatre credits include: With The Feet (Bathurst Showground), The Three Cuckolds (BMEC) & A Prior Engagement (Ponton Theatre). New York theatre credits include: Aunt Dan and Lemon (Horace Mann Theatre), As You Like it (Chasama) and The Actor’s Nightmare (The Lab Theatre, SUNY). Her film credits include: Set Piece, Beyond the Breakers and Orbit. She has trained in New York with Anne Bogart, The SITI Company in Suzuki, Viewpoints, and in Bodyweather (Tess de Quincey) participating in Triple Alice 1. Annette holds a BA Communications (Theatre and Media) from Charles Sturt University. She is currently the Artistic Director of Belvoir Downstairs.
